2015 Kitsap Cup

Welcome to the 2015 Kitsap Cup benefiting Children of the Nations in Banta Village, Sierra Leone, Africa (! We're so glad that you will be joining us this coming January 1st.

As always, we will be holding the tournament at Olympic Sports Center (

The kids we sponsored last year are:

Martha Jalloh:

Fatmata Musa:

Kennie Smart:

Dora Carpenter:

Mariatu Kailie:

Aminata Jalloh:

Edward Amara:

Mohamed Jalloh:

Francis Vandi:

Alliyah Sandy:

Margret Sandy:

Sheriff Yanguba:

Patrick Kini Tucker:

We need your help! While we use nice, expensive cleats to play soccer here in the states, our kids in Sierra Leone are using rubber skeletons of cleats. They could use our old equipment! We will have a box to place our used soccer gear at the tournament that will be sent to Sierra Leone. Cleats, Shinguards, Shorts, Jerseys - all appreciated!

Thank you to our sponsors for your generous contributions in making this tournament, and the sponsorship to these kids possible!

And local artist, Carol Swanson!

Dear Kitsap Cup 2012,

Thanks for the information and photos!  We were able to identify a child in Sierra Leone sponsored by the Kitsap cup who is a soccer player himself.  We interviewed him and put together this story about the Kitsap Cup, and how it changes lives!
Thank you for all that you do.  Please enjoy and share the article.

Raising Children Who Transform Nations

Children of the Nations,  works directly with the children in Sierral Leone who have been displaced because of HIV/AIDS, Malaria, War, and Famine.   Their mission is to "Raise Children who Transform Nations", by partnering with locals to set up schools, medical clinics, feeding centers, and orphanages to help develop a generation of future leaders.

Many of the families who have attended this annual event have also sponsored additional children outside of the tournament.  One player last year asked that gifts for her birthday be in cash only, and then donated the money for the annual sponsorship of another child in Sierra Leone :)  What a heart...

We are so grateful for all of your support for the 15+ children that are being raised in a way that will inspire them to transform their nation of Serra Leone. Happy New Year!
